The framework and the Canvas are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. You are free to:
- Share:copy and redistribute the framework and Canvas in any medium or format.
- Adapt:remix, transform, and build upon them.
- Do both for any purpose, including commercially:internal use, teaching, workshops, consulting, and client work.
Two conditions
- Attribution:give credit to PageRadar, link to the license, and indicate if you made changes.
- ShareAlike:if you adapt or build upon the material, license your version under the same CC BY-SA 4.0.
How to attribute
When you use the framework or the Canvas, include this credit:

Reserved by PageRadar
The open license covers the framework and the Canvas, not PageRadar’s brand or official products. You are free to build tools on the open method, but the following are reserved and require written permission:
- Presenting a score as an official Digital Reality Score, or an assessment as an official Digital Reality Audit.
- Selling assessments as official PageRadar evaluations.
- Using the names “Digital Reality Score”, “Digital Reality Audit”, or “PageRadar SIGNAL” for your own tools or services.
- Using PageRadar verification marks or badges.
- Implying partnership, certification, or endorsement by PageRadar.
Agencies, consultants, educators, and businesses may use, share, and adapt the Digital Reality Gap framework and Digital Reality Canvas under CC BY-SA 4.0, including commercially, as long as they provide attribution and share adaptations under the same license.
“PageRadar”, “PageRadar SIGNAL”, “Digital Reality Score”, and “Digital Reality Audit” are trademarks or official designations of PageRadar.
You are free to measure alignment yourself using the published framework and methodology. What is reserved is presenting the result as an official Digital Reality Score. Official Scores are published only on digitalrealityscore.com, each with its methodology version.
The CC BY-SA 4.0 license applies to the Digital Reality Gap framework and Digital Reality Canvas as copyrightable materials. It does not grant permission to use PageRadar’s trademarks, marks, official assessment names, certification marks, software, or official designations in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, certification, or official status.
Applying the framework
PageRadar maintains the framework and operates digitalrealityscore.com, where official Digital Reality Scores are issued under the published methodology and the independence policy. For permission to use a reserved name, email [email protected].

The content is offered in good faith and “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
